Our Winter issue is at the printer, ready for proofing today. This will be the first issue to show our name change to Niagara Escarpment Views, and you’re getting a first look at it here, but everything else will be the same. Scratch that – we keep improving the magazine – at least we work at it – and one important advertiser wanted to enlarge his presence because of the name change.
Look for our Winter 2012-3 issue in the mail before Dec. 1 if you subscribe, and at our advertisers and pick-up places in early Dec. if you’re not yet a subscriber. We look forward to adding you to our subscriber list and inviting you to our special events! Our cover story is on the Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Festival, a great way to be surprised by Canada’s most famous wine product.
And until the issue is printed and ready for distribution, I get to go through some interesting piles of paper on my desk and tables. Finally, a note to self: TAKE THIS WEEKEND OFF!
Any thoughts on our cover and new look?

Like the new name. Makes it clearer what geogrpahy you are focused on, particularly for foreign readers not familiar with Ontario. Should give you greater visibility for those who “Google” Niagara Escarpment. Nice to see your Dad honoured by the BTC with a trail in his name.
Another lovely issue. Put your feet up and enjoy a nice glass of ice wine – yeah, she says – I wish!
Thanks, Laurent. Great idea about taking time for icewine! And we’re looking forward to seeing Georgetown Choral Society’s A Choral Christmas on Dec. 8, & the Messiah Sing-along on Dec. 16.
