My name is Lauren Perry, and I am a grade 12 student doing a summer job at Niagara Escarpment Views. Although the 8 weeks are going by faster than I thought, I have still learned so much about preparing, managing, and advertising a magazine. Our 2026 Autumn Issue is now hitting the streets close to the Niagara Escarpment. Here is what you will see in it:
Belfountain is a tiny jewel of a village located in the Escarpment. Last year they celebrated their 200th anniversary!
The West Church Cemetery is a striking memorial in the countryside of the Escarpment. A new space has been defined and created to give the history of three churches that existed there, with acknowledgement of past Indigenous presence.
Conservation Halton’s Crawford Lake showcases outdoor art installations that highlight species-at-risk. The trail brings visitors into the woodland and close to the huge wood carvings.
Reimer Vineyards of Niagara-on-the-Lake is a farm dedicated to regenerative agriculture, which includes social, economic and ecological influences in management decisions.
