The Weird & Wonderful at the AutoShow

The 2019 Canadian International AutoShow opened on Feb. 15 and will run until Feb. 24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. More info is at autoshow.ca.

The Jaguar I-Pace won the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) Utility Vehicle of the year award. It is a luxury battery electric vehicle.

Craig Jackson, CEO of Barrett-Jackson Auctions showing off his car. He took great pains to ensure everything was original when he bought it. He was happy to say it was coloured his company’s colour. He said an interesting take away, that the value of the autos at auction were more if they had improvements for comfort. Spousal comfort increased the value!


VW used this pure electric vehicle to smash a record on the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, which beat the overall record even for gasoline powered vehicles!
