Online now, our Autumn 2024 issue is a celebration of outdoor activities during the most colourful season on the Niagara Escarpment, when biting insects have disappeared and days are cooler but still beautifully sunny.
The issue features these interesting stories, which give plenty of opportunities for gorgeous, or at least, enlightening photographs:
* Fine Arts Society of Milton Studio Tour 2023, when artists displayed their creative brilliance.
* Cycling the trails in the Lindsay Tract on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula. Frequent contributor Sandra J. Howe takes us into the back woods!
* Excerpt from the book Exploring Sydenham by Ron Savage, which offers a type of scavenger hunt as well as showing the routes to hike in this wonderful area.
* Dedicated citizens along the Escarpment who are working to protect the Greenbelt. Seniors are standing up and making change!
Letters we receive and publish in our Readers & Viewers section tell us that we’re providing interesting, beautiful content that they don’t want to miss. We learned that Ron Savage sold out of his fine book after we featured it, and he has had to reprint more! The fact that he donates the funds to The Bruce Trail Conservancy only makes a good thing better.
