The way things look now, we won’t be back to normal by June 1, which is the publication date for our Summer issue. Many of our regular advertisers may not be open as usual, meaning that they won’t have copies available for you to pick up. We do have at least one advertiser, our amazingly loyal Foodstuffs of Georgetown, which is still putting out copies of the Spring issue for their customers to take when coming for door pickup of their orders. And Penner Building Centre in Virgil near Niagara-on-the-Lake has been giving out hundreds of copies as they always do.
But distribution of the Summer issue is going to be a challenge. We may use Neighbourhood Mail by Canada Post, meaning we’ll choose some postal routes throughout our coverage area for door-to-door delivery. We may do some rural mailbox deliveries again ourselves. We may do a bit of everything we can think of.
We’ve been having an increase in subscription orders these days. We’re grateful for this. And again I must point out that to be sure of getting a copy of our magazine, subscribing is absolutely the best way, particularly now in this time of stay-at-home measures. Who knows how long this will last? What will we be able to do as restrictions are gradually lifted? Will we risk a rebound of infections once more people return to going out? Staying home may continue to be a safe bet, especially until they find a cure or vaccine for COVID-19.

Subscribers receive their copies in our first distribution method, Publications Mail, which is addressed mail brought by Canada Post. Expect to get your copy before the end of May. Other methods will happen later.
